Speak Up Press

Speak Up Press publishes Speak Up, a national annual art and literary journal featuring fiction, nonfiction, poetry, plays, photography, and artwork of young people thirteen to nineteen years old from across the country and around the world. Speak Up is produced by a local and online teen advisory board.

Swept Away TV/The Rock Star Stories
This television program written, edited, filmed and directed by college and high school students. The program airs in more than 72 markets. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to providing media career training, mentoring and experiences for young people nationwide.  More than 3000 young people have learned to shoot, edit, film and direct in the 7 years that the program has been on air. Students also produce high school and college press conferences with such musical artists as Yellowcard, Thursday, Something Corporate,  Sum 41, Andrew WK, and the Alkaline Trio.  Students have also produced a book of their best interviews titled The Rock Star Stories available in Summer 2007. 

TeenInk

TeenInk is a national teen magazine, book, and Web site featuring teen writing, information, art, photos, poetry, teen issues, and more. All articles are written by teen authors who are students at K–12 schools. The monthly print magazine is appropriate for teenagers ages thirteen to nineteen attending secondary school: junior high school, middle school, and high school. TeenInk was established in 1989 as The 21st Century magazine by The Young Authors Foundation, a nonprofit organization. More than 25,000 teens have published in the magazine and its companion, Poetry Journals.
