This year's panel members included Andrew Pace, Marshall Breeding, Clifford Lynch, Karen G. Schneider, Eric Lease Morgan, Tom Wilson, and Roy Tennant. Former TTT expert and LITA president Walt Crawford moderated. Panelists spoke about technology trends that will have an impact on libraries, which Michelle Boule captured and posted to the LITA blog: <http://litablog.org/2006/06/25/the-annual-top-10-trends-extravaganza/> Audience questions were submitted on index cards, then the moderator and committee chair selected some to ask the panelists. During the question gathering/selection, committee member Maurice York engaged the panelists in a look back at some of their past trends. Reviews of the new format were positive and have been sent to the LITA office for their use. FUTURE_ACTIVITIES = Prior to midwinter '07 (or annual at latest), we would like to identify additional experts for our panel.
