Soft Launch of LITA Blog

LITA's own Madame President, Colby Riggs, has officially "cut the ribbons" on the new LITA blog with her opening post. Welcome aboard, take a look around, add a comment on her entry if you feel like it, and add this blog to your favorite RSS reader today!

We already have a number of volunteers for covering the ALA conference on the LITA blog... and still more volunteers/conference coverage are needed! Take a look at the schedule and if you see an event you'd like to cover, email Michelle Boule, Michelle.Boule@mail.uh.edu. You do not need blogging experience to blog for LITA!

Note that there are still some design tweaks going on. We need a PDA-friendly style sheet, and there were a couple of WAI concerns we noted that we're addressing.

Big, big thanks to many people involved in this launch, including Jennifer Zimmer, Sarah Houghton, Genny Engel, Christina Biles, Jason Griffey, Kevin Clarke, David Ward, Blake Carver, Aaron Dobbs, Ranti Junus, Charles W.
