Provides daily management of library operations and delivery of library services to students and staff. 2. Works with the Dean of Education, Program Directors, and instructors to evaluate library services. 3. Answers reference and other questions and assists students and staff in finding the resources they require. 4. Instructs students in the basic operation of computers in the areas of word processing, Internet access, CD-ROM, and on-line database searches. 5. Orders texts and learning resources for the educational programs on the campus. 6. Orders, processes, and catalogs library material. 7. Updates and manages the use of audiovisual material. 8. Keeps circulation records and helps expedite the return of late materials. 9. Performs periodic inventory and weeding procedures. 10. Keeps statistics on library usage and writes status and other reports, as necessary. 11. Attends and reports at Educational Management Team meetings 12. Solves computer problems as appropriate, including contacting on-line database vendors or technical services to report problems. 13. Coordinates regular meetings with other campus Librarians. 14. Develops and implements the library budget, policies, and procedures QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree with emphasis in library and information technology required. Experience as a librarian or library technician preferred DESIRED: Master's Degree in Library Science or equivalent preferred.
